07/06/09 -LOCATED IN DENVER, CO.  Winnie Introducing Winnie! She is a very unique 8 year old longhaired female. Fabulous with kids of all ages and other dogs, unknown with cats. Born 1/2001, she's been in the same, loving home for her entire life. Sadly, their young children have severe allergies and that includes Winnie. Her family doesn't want to part with her, but for the kid's sake, they need her to find a new home. Winnie is house-trained, obedience-trained, is very well-behaved when left alone in the home (she was crate-trained as a puppy, but doesn't need it). Her family says the ideal home for Winnie is: Great with kids, loves to relax and be loved. Enjoys watching birds and bunnies from the window or the yard. Note from Winnie 7/7: Hello, my name is Winnie and I am a fun 8 year old Weimaraner. I am looking for a fun family to start a new life with, and maybe you are the one! I am a lovable and affectionate dog. I love to run and play outside and chase rabbits. Sometimes, I like to high jump over my owner’s split rail fence when in pursuit of a passing dog or human. I love most dogs unless they are small and fluffy. I might be best in a privacy fence setting. I also acquired a limp due to my jumping, so I don't need vigerous exercise, just gentle walks. But, I am healthy and strong and have impressed the vet with my good muscle and bone and joint structures. I do like to hide socks, you might just show me where you keep them so I can return them later. I have gotten in the habit lately of barking to say hello. I love being inside with my owners and love children of all ages. If you can find it in your heart to give me a fresh start, it would mean a lot! I really need a family who will be home with me most of the time and I really like older laid back dogs, no young ones for me please. Thank you! Woof Woof!

 ADOPTED!  5/31/09 - Willie is a 14 month old neutered longahaired Weim. He is very fluffy and has a pretty feathery tail. He is house and crate trained and is good with other dogs and kids. He does like to jump up so he needs to learn not to do this! Willie knows some commands and is ok on a leash. He likes to play with the other dogs and toys. Willie would benefit from some obedience training. He is in Manassas. Contact

4/15/09  LH Found!- do you recognize this dog?

He was found near Wahpeton, North Dakota, vet says he is about 2 1/2 - 3 yrs old, very friendly, wonderful dog.  He is on his way to Glendive, MT and will be at the Hunt tests at Three Forks the weekend of 4/18-19. See contacts below.

He seems to recognize the name "Hunter"
